I was born in Balmaseda on January 29, 1970. Later on, my family moved to Deusto. Since 1997, I’ve been living in Getxo. ’m married and I’m the father of two children.

I hold a degree in Law from the University of Deusto (1993) and an MBA in Business Management and Administration from the University of the Basque Country (2002). In the past few years, I attended many courses on leadership, coaching, project management, the “seven habits of highly effective people”, negotiation, time management and emotional intelligence, among other topics. I’m fluent in English and I can understand what I read.

My career has always been oriented towards transformation projects. have a great ability to manage change and to get others on board when a transformation process is triggered, and a powerful leadership focusing on people – confidence, motivation, participation, involvement –, as well as on results – strategic planning, follow-up, innovation.

At present, I’m a member of the K2K Emocionando team. Our job is to implement the New Style of Relationships ner) in organisations interested in making deep changes and laying the foundations for a participatory, supportive and committed horizontal structure. The organisations that have succeeded in implementing ner are members of Ner Group, the association in which we share experiences, exchange knowledge and build synergies to move forward, become more efficient, get better results and go farther.

 I’ve led transformation processes in several companies, including Heroslam, S.A.L. (thread rolling machines, 50 employees), and I’m a consultant in Licar, S.L. (capital goods) and Torcal Formación (training, 75 employees). In addition, I’m part of NER Inspira, an initiative that gives advice to 

organisations, including Zabaltzen, Bizitzen, GoiEner, Grafik Sarea, Mecanizados Alberdi, Denendako, Metauniversidad, Lanetan, Haizea Ikerketa, Thinking of Poems, GAIA, Baga Biga Faktoria, Herrería El Campillo, Momil and Educació22.

I’ve implemented organisational changes in Zubiola S. Coop. (cutting tools, 30 employees), Royde S. Coop. (sliding systems and special ball bearings, 35 employees), Lejarreta Seguridad, S.L. (security services, 15 employees), Coopenor S. Coop., Kondia, Etxekit, Fraz, Lizuan and Nicolás Correa, among other companies. I’ve also implemented NER in organisations like Urtxintxa (education and training, 35 employees) and Ekin S. Coop. (broaching machines and tools, 250 employees).

I’m part of the coordination and communication team at Ner Group, a project leader for NER Inspira, Lur Denok (pool of clients) and the association Hurbilekojalea Dendak, and a regular speaker on behalf of Ner Group and K2K at universities, institutions and organisations. Until September 2008, I was CEO of Vivienda y Suelo de Euskadi, S.A. (VISESA), a company of the Government of the Basque Country whose shareholders include BBK, Kutxabank, Vital and Caja Laboral, specialising in subsidised housing development. Before this, through September 2001, I was general manager at Euskoasesores, a company providing SME consulting, insurance and property management services.

Until September 2008, I was CEO of Vivienda y Suelo de Euskadi, S.A. (VISESA), a company of the Government of the Basque Country whose shareholders include BBK, Kutxabank, Vital and Caja Laboral, specialising in subsidised housing development.
